Another Dirty Trick (Part 2 of 2)

Here is what felt like a "trick" to me, although it is probably just bad programming ....
I have a cell phone with a telecommunications company I will call "A.T-Verint". I registered with their web page so I can look up balances of money, minutes, and text messages. Username, Password.
Lately, this year, I ran into the problem of "Wrong username or password, try again", although I usually have both username and password written down. No problem with that, really - Eventually I would use the "Forgot your password?" link, and get to enter a new password.
